Screenshot tools and privacy
Pins, masks, blur and the tools that make a screenshot actionable.
Show the exact area
Use numbered pins, arrow, pencil, rectangle, circle, line or text. Link a pin to a diagnostic event to connect visible evidence with a runtime/network issue.
Hide screenshot pixels
Opaque Mask permanently covers the selected rectangle in the saved/uploaded PNG. Blur visually obscures a dragged area with adjustable strength. Use opaque masks for full concealment of sensitive information.
Edit without losing context
Color and stroke controls apply to drawing tools. Crop updates pin coordinates. Undo/redo has a bounded in-memory history; shortcuts are Ctrl/Cmd Z, Ctrl/Cmd Shift Z or Ctrl Y.
Check before sending
Review the entire screenshot, including browser/page text. Screenshot tools do not edit or redact a video. Local drafts contain the flattened saved image, not a reversible server annotation layer.
